Personal
Hands that never stop moving.
- Addicted to creating, observing, altering, and documenting. I feel whole when I can take time each day to cook, photograph, bind books, or even to tear paper with a straight edge.
- Love thrifting [for clothes; paper to bind books; fabric for sewing].
- Created a 31” X 60” rag rug using homemade frame and found fabrics.
- As a northwest native, I am a big fan of IPAs. The hoppier, the better.
- I believe that it is important to take the time to get away from the digital and create with one’s hands. I love taking found objects [fabrics, papers, paints, leftover bits of museum board, wood] and repurose them. I can spend hours stamping small lines on bits of canvas, just to watch something new emerge.
